About the Role

Finmato is seeking a meticulous QA Automation Engineer to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our financial tools. You will be the gatekeeper of quality, responsible for validating complex calculation logic and ensuring a flawless user experience across all devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright or Cypress.
• Perform manual testing of new features and financial calculators.
• Validate mathematical accuracy of financial models against known standards.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using Jira or Linear.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in QA automation and manual testing.
• Strong proficiency with modern testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium).
• Experience testing complex web applications and mathematical logic.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for breaking things.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
