What is the difference between Rad and Deg?

Deg (Degrees) divides a circle into 360 slices. Rad (Radians) divides it based on the radius (2π radians = 360°). Calculators default to one or the other; ensure you know which mode you are in, or you will get wildly different answers for Trig functions.

How do I find an Inverse Sine (Asin)?

On many calculators, this is the "Shift" or "2nd" function of the Sin key. It does the opposite: you give it a ratio, and it tells you the angle that produced it.

Why does it say 'NaN' or 'Error'?
